Reach the African, Asian and Caribbean Islands’ church with an urgent appeal for the cause of widows and orphans.

Our Mission

The mission of WAJANE FOUNDATION is inspired by the words of James 1:27: “…Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world…” It is a call to be sensitive to the needs of widows who are not able to take care of themselves due to reasons beyond their control (abuse, poverty, diseases) and to facilitate their empowerment (material), while trusting God to take care of their spiritual needs, thereby restoring the true image of God in them to the glory and honor of our savior, Jesus Christ.The mission of the organization is to reach widows in the third world, specifically Africa, Asia and the Caribbean islands. We seek to win them to Christ and facilitate their learning trades and crafts, which will provide incomes to sustain them and their children. The mission will work with small groups of widows in their respective countries to find an appropriate trade and guide them to grow said business.

Our Vision

Reach the African, Asian and the Caribbean Islands’ church with an urgent appeal for the cause of widows and orphans as taught in the books of James 1:27 “…religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world…”and        1 Timothy 5:3, which commands us to “…give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need…”.
